BALLAS, LLC, provides Global Low Earth Orbit (“LEO”) Satellite GPS and two-way M2M Data Messages that Locate, Track, Monitor, and Control Fixed and Mobile Assets “Anywhere in the World” – including remote, isolated, and inaccessible locations where Cell Towers and Land Lines Don’t Exist - Easily from your Office and Home.
BALLAS has developed a Portable, Self-Contained, “All-N-One” Satellite Modem that can easily be attached to any Intermodal Container and/or its Intermodal Carrier Equipment - (Rail, Ship, Truck, Tug, and Barge) that will Locate and Track its position as it travels across the Continental Landmasses, Polar Ice Caps, Islands, Oceans, Seas, Lakes, and Rivers.
The “All-N-One” Intelligent Modem when attached to an Intermodal Container and/or its Carrier will transmit its location to a Constellation of Global LEO Satellites. The Satellites will then relay this information through an array of global stations to Master Data Servers where the information is readily available to Customers.
The “All-N-One” Portable Modem is a completely self-contained device with an internal microprocessor, intelligent modem, software, firmware, RF antenna and transceiver which communications with the LEO Satellites, GPS antenna and receiver, and battery pack. - The “All-N-One” Portable Modem when equipped with a wide array of sensors will not only locate and track; but will also monitor, control, and report the status of the Container’s sensors.
The “All-N-One” Portable Modem has a weatherproof and rugged case, allowing it to continuously perform and survive in harsh environments. Until now, tracking Containers which are often located in extremely remote and harsh locations, including the oceans and polar ice caps, has been extremely difficult, time consuming, labor intensive, and very expensive. - Today, because BALLAS provides low-cost LEO Satellite GPS and M2M data services, which are far less expensive than “cellular/tower” and geo-stationary satellite broadband services, BALLAS can provide Global Container Companies with low cost data services which will significantly reduce the company’s daily operating expenses, improved productivity, while still providing additional Container safety and security.
